Suryakumar Yadav is an Indian cricket player. He was born on 14 September 1990 in Mumbai, India. He is a right-handed batsman who usually plays in the middle order.
He plays for the Indian cricket team and is also the captain of India’s T20 side. He was a member of the squad that lifted the Asia Cup in 2023 and also the T20 World Cup in 2024. He is best known by his nickname, Mr. 360, SKY.

Cricket Career Details
He began his cricket journey by playing club matches in Mumbai, which eventually earned him a place in the Mumbai domestic team. He played his first List A match for Mumbai in February 2010, and later that year, he also made his debut in first-class and T20 cricket.
His hard work paid off when he got the chance to represent India in March 2021 with his T20I debut, followed by his ODI debut in July the same year. He was given the responsibility of leading the Indian team for the first time in November 2023.
Later, in July 2024, he was again chosen as the captain of the T20I side after Rohit Sharma stepped away from T20 internationals. By August 2024, he had scored over 3,000 runs in international cricket, which includes four centuries.
In T20 internationals, he has four hundreds, the second-highest for any player. He also stayed at the number one spot in the ICC T20I batting rankings from October 2022 until June 2024.
He was honored as the ICC Men’s T20I Cricketer of the Year in both 2022 and 2023. He also earned a place in the ICC Men’s T20I Team of the Year in those two years. In the IPL, he has played for both the Kolkata Knight Riders and Mumbai Indians.
With Kolkata, he lifted the trophy in 2014, and with Mumbai, he added two more titles in 2019 and 2020.
